England won the Rugby World Cup in 2003, beating Australia 20-17 in extra time.

England Rugby Team has won the Six Nations tournament outright 25 times, and have shared it on another 10 occasions. They have also achieved the Grand Slam 12 times and the Triple Crown 23 times, during their rich history.

After beating Wales and Italy in the first two games this year, England lost to Ireland in the third game. They will be trying to win the Calcutta Cup now, as the Triple Crown and the ultimate challenge, the Grand Slam have eluded this year.
